Commercial Business Partner, Finance
Job Description
In this business-oriented position within JDE Professional, you will join our finance function in Denmark as a Commercial Business Partner for JDE Professional, with reference to the local Finance Manager.
The Business Partnering team in JDE Professional DK consists of two Commercial Business Partners as well as the Finance Manager. Our main purpose is to enable the departments across the organization to further develop and grow the business. JDE has a strong collaboration with the Nordics cluster functions as well as the local business stakeholders, and support with high quality reporting, value adding analyses and performance follow-up.
With your background, business-oriented mind-set, and pro-active approach you will ensure that the finance function continually supports and develop the business to create value for our customers across all departments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare, compose, and analyze the overall management information: reviews of figures, planning and forecasting.
- Provide key analysis and outtakes from monthly performance reporting as well as S&OP processes and highlight areas of importance and significance
- Actively support and drive periodic forecasting and budgeting processes
- Supporting and driving efficiency in our operation department and cost across the full organisation, by tracking main KPI’s and securing transparency in cost development
- Understanding and visualizing sales performance in a language understood both by management and sales reps to drive profitability and focus on right customers/products
- Develop, maintain, and challenge business processes and secure compliance
- Participate in and drive key business-related projects
- Act as key liaison between business, management, and finance functions
- Ensure transparency in the business and relevance to the financial information
- Streamline and further develop business reporting to support business and management in key decisions
- Development of the overall business partnering tools and solutions
Key part of the role is communication across the organization and visualization of the challenges and opportunities in the business by providing insightful and relevant information, acting as an enabler for further business development.
Qualifications
You possess great understanding of what finance need to enhance the business, and you explain figures and coherences so non-experts understand. You can interact at all levels in an organization, and you are not afraid of speaking your mind and advise line-managers and sales managers in particular. You are confident, persistent and can add value to the business on a professional/personal level, and furthermore you are collaborative, supporting and want to have fun in your daily work. Further to that we are looking for someone has:
- A degree at min. bachelor level within finance, accounting or equivalent
- 2-4 years of relevant experience with Business Partnering and commercial controlling
- Strong skills in Excel and fluency in English/Danish, verbally and in writing.
