We are looking for a Nordic Category Marketing Manager to additionally strengthen the Nordic Marketing unit. The strong profile we are looking for in this role will be part of our diverse, competent, and positive-driven Marketing Team and we would like to see you as the structured initiator who drives simplicity in your ways of working.

As a Category Marketing Manager, you are responsible for your category in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. You compile and share key market insights, manage brand communication and portfolio development, deliver and evolve category strategy and recommend pricing and promotion in coordination with the sales team. You are also the key contact of the Central marketing team, translating central category strategy into Nordic brands plans, while managing a team of three passionate associates in your team.

Brand P&L Management: Builds the business plan in order to reach the AOP target

  • Delivers Nordic and local consumer insights and category analysis
  • Develops annual operating plan and roadmap
  • Is a contributor to forecast management (S&OP process)
  • Manages marketing budget

Portfolio management: Is responsible for local range management to ensure a sustained yield of products ranges

  • Develops Nordic innovation roadmap and launch 3-year-plans
  • Contributes to the central Innovation decisions: responsible for compiling local market insight and sharing with the central marketing organization
  • Manages and coordinates local New products launches projects

Media: Implements external communication in line with the Global media strategy with the support of the local Media Manager:

  • Develops campaign transcreation to support specific local activation.
  • Develops local digital contents and strategy
  • Develop an efficient and consistent media plan for your brands with the Media Manager

Local brand activation: Adapts the category strategy guidelines into local activation campaign

  • Recommends and develop local activation campaigns
  • Instore execution/implementation of these marketing campaign is managed by a dedicated activation team

Qualifications

  • Min. 5-7 years of relevant international/cross markets Consumer Marketing experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Nordic experience 
  • Commercial understanding
  • Analytic mindset
  • Agility to manage diverse stakeholders and passion to drive your category
  • Managerial experience needed
  • Fluent in English and min. one Nordic Language
