Accounting & Tax Specialist
Job Description
- Is responsible for GL accounting, performs bookings and supports Accounting Manager in analyses and reporting as per company business model;
- Ensures SAP bookings quality and works together with business stakeholders to maintain accurate records;
- Prepares financial reports and accounting statements, under local GAAP (Romanian Accounting Standards)
- Supports internal and financial audits with professional expertise;
- Responsible for all matters related to the local Tax Authorities: CIT and VAT computation and preparation of statements to be submitted to ANAF.
- Works and build good relationships with the local stakeholders, shared service, outsourcing providers, auditors, tax consultants and external authorities, where relevant;
- Prepares ad-hoc reports and financial analyses and contributes to continuous process improvement in the accounting area.
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting and Finance related field
- Very good knowledge of accounting standards and local regulations ( CECCAR qualification is a plus)
- Minim 3 years working experience in Accounting
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team, under pressure and with strict deadlines
- Experience in working with SAP is a plus
- Fluency in Business English, both verbal and writing is a plus
- IFRS and financial reporting knowledge is a plus
